MHPI - (Medicine Hat Paranormal Investigations)
Formed on July 7th, 2008, MHPI is a paranormal research group located in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Our main goal is to help individuals who believe their lives are being affected by spirits.
While our main desire is to find definitive evidence of the existence of life after death, we believe it is more important for our clientele to attempt to DISPROVE their haunting through use of scientific means. We use many tools to accomplish this goal, including Night-Video surveillance, Electro-Magnetic Detection, Electronic Voice Phenomenon, and have a Medium on our investigations to help locate and/or communicate any restless spirits on the premises. We conduct our investigations and collect data in a thorough, professional and exhaustive manner, from the pre-investigation through to our final meeting and case assessment.

MYTH-conceptions
The most popular misconception about Paranormal Investigation groups is that they are out to 'Bust Ghosts'. This is not the case. In order to bust a ghost, the assumption has to be made that a ghost actually exists. The truth is... MHPI's main goal is not necessarily to bust a 'ghost', but to debunk the client's belief that the location is haunted. In reality most 'hauntings' are caused by natural forces playing havoc on the client's psyche. Through exhaustive investigation, we are able in most cases to find the cause of the disturbance, giving the client peace of mind.
In cases where we are unable to explain the source of the disturbances and activity, we have resources available to cleanse a location spiritually.
Hoaxters
99%* of all ghost videos posted on popular video websites such as Youtube are hoaxes deliberately created to fool gullible viewers desperate to see a ghost on video. Ever since computers, cameras, and photo/video manipulation software became cheap enough for the general public, it has been near impossible to believe anything you see. Hoaxters are not only liars and cheaters, they are single handedly destroying the credibility of the paranormal field. MHPI does NOT tolerate hoax videos, photos, or audio in any way.
MHPI will NEVER... EVER... EVER intentionally fake evidence or create hoax video, photo, or audio for the purposes of manipulating the public.
NOTE: Audio, video, or photos that have been misinterpreted as ghost evidence can NOT be considered a hoax. Anyone can misinterpret data. In the case that a piece of evidence is being debated, MHPI will post the evidence for the public to scrutinize and will consider the general consensus when composing its findings.
